Materials Needed For Your Quilt
Choosing your material for the backing and the sashing is very important! Please follow these general rules when choosing fabrics for your t-shirt quilt. I will provide the batting and the stabilizer; all you need to provide are the t-shirts, sashing, and backing. Please contact me with any questions you have about your materials.
- Directional fabrics should not be used. Directional fabrics include plaids, stripes, or fabrics that have a design that goes one way.
- Fleece may be used for the backing, however this will require a different amount of material to be used. You must contact me for the correct size you will need.
- Fleece and knit fabrics may not be used on the quilt.
- Fabric that is used for the backing and sashing cannot be pre-quilted or pre-stitched material (three layers).
